West Koenen is Group Head, Information Services at MasterCard Worldwide. In this role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of P&L related to the Information Services Credit business group.
Prior to joining MasterCard, West was general manager and head of sales for Experian Consumer Direct, the single largest business unit within Experian. In this position, he managed all North American business development activities for Experian Consumer Direct and was responsible for P&L related to Affinity Marketing and Strategic Accounts.
West has held various positions in business development and finance within the information technology and enterprise software industries. He served as vice president of corporate development for ProcessClaims Software Inc. where he managed mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and third-party embedded technologies. As part of the original management team at Engage Technologies, West contributed to its successful initial public offering. He was also director of strategic alliances for PrimaryKnowledge Inc. prior to its acquisition by LookSmart.
West holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Connecticut, Storrs and a MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
