Phillip M. Miller is Principal, Acquiring Knowledge Center. He is responsible for Advisors Consulting thought leadership for strategy, business development and emerging technologies for merchant acquirers, globally. In his prior role as Group Head of US Commerce Development for MasterCard Worldwide, he was responsible for the disciplines of e-Commerce, business development and marketing across a broad spectrum of key retail and e-commerce customers for MasterCard. In 2005, Mr. Miller joined MasterCard Advisors as global solutions leader. In this role, he headed the consulting practice which provided information services for large bank Acquirers globally.

Mr. Miller has executive management experience in both B-to-B and Consumer financial services. His skills are in the area of P & L management in the card acquiring business, credit cards, private label cards, consumer lending, private banking and branch distribution in the US and internationally. Mr. Miller also has M & A experience in due diligence, valuation, acquisition and integration of financial institutions internationally. He has launched credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, lending and mutual fund products in both the physical world and on-line globally.

Prior to joining MasterCard Worldwide, Mr. Miller held the position of President and CEO of Chase Merchant services, a division of JPMorgan Chase, the largest bank Acquiring business in the US; senior vice president Global Marketing for GE Money, GE Capital's Global Consumer Financial Services Group; and vice president of International Product Development for Citibank's International Private Bank.

Mr. Miller graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with an MBA in International Business and Finance. He earned his undergraduate degree from American University in Marketing and Management.
