Eric F. Schneider
Group Head, U.S. Region
Eric Schneider is Group Head and member of the management team for the MasterCard Advisors U.S. Region. Eric and his team undertake business development with several of MasterCard's major accounts in the U.S. - as well as prospective new accounts. In this role, Eric formulates highly customized solutions leveraging an array of consulting, information and implementation capabilities to address the customer's most pressing challenges. Prior to Advisors, Eric developed business intelligence applications in the Information Products & Services team.
Eric joined MasterCard in 2001 from the consulting firm, Edgar, Dunn & Company, where he specialized in market-entry strategy, interchange analysis and activity-based cost studies within the payments industry.
In a consultative as well as client development capacity Eric has accumulated a breadth of expertise cutting across the cards business including co-branded programs, debit and small business. Eric has also become a multi-functional generalist, advising on business strategy, market entry, product design and development, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing strategy and execution, operations and risk management.
Eric has worked with clients across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Western and Central Europe, and the Middle East.
Eric earned a B.A. magna cum laude from Cornell and a Ph.D. from Oxford University.
