Carlos Pittier is a Principal with MasterCard Advisorĺs Debit and Prepaid Knowledge Center with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry both in Latin America and the US focusing on strategic development, business development, account management and product management.

Carlos has participated in and led multiple engagements for prepaid card stakeholders around the world in projects ranging from product entry strategy to portfolio optimization including data analytics. Carlos is currently engaged in portfolio segmentation projects for debit issuers in Europe.

Prior to joining MasterCard Advisors, Carlos was responsible for leading the Strategic Accounts team at i2c, a global provider of prepaid payment solutions. Carlos was responsible for launching more than 25 programs across several verticals for clients located in the US, Brazil, Central America and Israel. Additionally, Carlos worked closely with program managers on managing cardholder lifecycle from first load to retention and led teams to: introduce new products/functionality to enhance cardholder lifecycle management, manage the customer service process for a direct mailings campaigns and develop a comprehensive data-driven approach to minimize customer service costs while enhancing customer service satisfaction.

Carlos holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, and received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business. He is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in both English and Portuguese.
